Junior Interior Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

An Interior Designer at Pivot Studio is responsible for creating and executing effective design solutions for our clients. This includes ideation, concepts and layout design for a wide variety of projects. These projects will mainly include restaurants, bars, retail and residential.

Attention to detail combined with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsible for all design aspect of the project
To collaborate closely and work with all the team members throughout design and implementations process.
Produce drawings and design ideas on time and on-budget
To generate project drawings when required
To attend all contractor's queries and when request for information as and when required
Set project schedules
Willingness to travel to client sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space and to attend site meetings Able to analyze if construction is not going as plan
To inspect, monitor and verify on site all aspect related to interior design scope in ensuring smooth completion of the project.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical proficient in design software: 3D, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design
Candidate with 2 years of working experiences in the related field will be an added advantage. Fresh Graduate with certification in Interior Design are welcome to apply
Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight schedules
Detail conscious, thorough and able to work independently
Posses own transport and ready to travel outstation
