The home was designed to be fluid and adaptable. The south-facing sliding glass doors extends the interior outwards to the garden and captures direct sunlight during the day. The surrounding landscape is incorporated into the design in a way that being inside the house makes one feels an immediate sense of connection to the external garden. The front of the house is closed and private, while the corner of the house opens to the interior, orienting all social areas to be enclosed from the busy roads.
The Cyberjaya home is simple in form and layout, yet rich in materiality and spaces of intimacy and openness. The main portion of the residence is linear in plan, and includes an outdoor patio and island counter that meets a living room and wet kitchen on the ground floor. Inside is a long wall of teak cabinets and flooring in grey marble. A timber staircase is located beside the living hall with a small garden below, and the master suite is positioned at the front of the house.
